The Constituency Labour Party joins members of the Upper Beeding, Henfield and Steyning Branch in expressing our sadness at the sudden passing of the Independent Horsham District Councillor to Henfield, Malcolm Eastwood in December. Malcolm was a tireless engine who supported the community in which he served, both as Parish Councillor, Chair of the Parish Council, and from June 2023 as District Councillor. His energy and relentless drive was consistently invaluable, especially when he led the successful fight against the unsustainable and totally undesirable Mayfield development. Malcolm did so much more and we respect his passion and dedication to the Henfield community. Our condolences go to his wife and family.
